Come and learn traditional hand tapestry weaving techniques and make your own wall hanging to take home!!
All materials are provided - choose from a range of traditional yarns, recycled sari silks and other materials to add to your work.
Your tutor Jenny has 15 years of teaching experience, a First Class degree in Design for Textiles, with a specialism in woven textiles, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Art and Design Education. Class sizes are kept to a maximum of 6 students so you will have lots of individual tuition and support.
This course is aimed at beginners and will cover everything, from learning about the different parts of the loom to adding your cotton warp.
How to use the table top tapestry looms
To add a cotton warp to your loom
We will learn a range of different tapestry techniques
To neatly finish your piece with a wooden dowel ready to hang on the wall!
You will make a finished wall hanging over the 2 day course
Use of our fully equipped sewing studio and table top tapestry looms

Nothing! All materials are included in the cost of this course.
Price is inclusive of tax. All classes to be paid for in advance and processed through the website securely using Stripe - we do not access your bank details. When booking a class, you consent to receiving emails from Bonnay Studio - you can opt out at any time.
You can cancel or amend your booking up to 48 hours after placing the booking. After this, cancellations are not permitted - you may be able to transfer to an alternative date with plenty of notice but please be mindful that we are a small business with small class sizes so may not be able to accommodate this.
If we have to cancel a class, we will give you as much notice as possible and will offer an alternative date or a full refund.
